Living Sustainability in the Company – Vol. 3

The constantly rising mountain of plastic waste is one of the most urgent problems of our time: 500,000 tons of it alone end up in the oceans every year. The avoidance of disposable plastic is a major and important step to counteract this.

Consor was looking for a way to contribute to the avoidance of plastic waste and came across Recircle’s solution. The company Recircle from Berne produces and distributes reusable lunch boxes, which are now used all over Switzerland.

At Consor we have been using Recircle boxes for three years now. This allows our employees to transport their take-away lunch without having to produce new plastic waste. The practical boxes are dishwasher safe and can be used for several years. Due to this small measure Consor can save about 200 kg of waste per year.
