Consor appoints a new CEO

Consor has appointed Ruedi Wipf as the new CEO. The company founder and longstanding CEO, René Walter, will step down from day-to-day operations at the end of October. Ruedi Wipf has a degree in Computer Engineering EPFL and a postgraduate diploma in Business Management (HSG). He has served as head of integrated solutions at Swisscom since 2012. From 2007 to 2012, Ruedi Wipf was CEO of AdNovum Informatik AG. Prior to that, he had developed a team of 30 software developers for AdNovum in Budapest. He is 45 years old, a father of three children, and lives with his family in Aarau.

René Walter, commenting on the new successor, said, “With Ruedi Wipf, the Board has chosen a proven IT specialist, who has many years of experience in developing software solutions, as well as in the leadership and development of a software company. With this decision, we have created a solid platform to ensure the future success of Consor”.
